Comfort is a beautiful place. But nothing grows there_

  2. 2. A state of unease where growth is exponential and inevitable.

I've always believed that growth happens when we challenge what feels familiar.

Whether it's stepping into a Muay Thai ring, standing in front of a room, learning something completely new, or putting myself in unfamiliar situations, I'm constantly searching for opportunities to grow.

this_comfort is where I document that journey.

Not because I have everything figured out, but because I believe there's something valuable in being willing to try.

Originally from South Africa, now living in the Netherlands.

An engineer by education, an educator by profession, and someone who's become increasingly curious about what happens when we deliberately step into unfamiliar territory — through martial arts, public speaking, travel, photography and filmmaking.
